Please remember to bring one or more unwrapped non-violent toys, a donation or gift card(s) that will be given to the organizations that we support. Also a reminder - when thinking of items to bring, please remember the older kids who are often over-looked. Sporting goods i.e. soccer balls, footballs etc. or gift cards for movies, pizza or individual stores make great teen gifts. We very much appreciate the amazing generousity of those who attend The Country Toy Tea. We could not do it without you!
Welcome to The Country Toy Tea Information page
The Country Toy Tea was formed to help provide children, in the York Region area, with toys during the holiday season. December 7, 2011 will be our seventh event and to date we have provided about 7,000 toys and raised in excess of $60,000.00 for local organizations.
We invite you to come to this ladies only event sip some Starbucks coffee or tea, listen to The Country Day School children's choir and eat some seasonal treats provided by some of our generous local merchants. In the morning we will have a fabulous fashion show featuring the fashions of Want and Injoy with hair styled by Aqua Beauty Emporium. We ask in return that you provide one or more new unwrapped toys, gift cards or a donation which will be distributed to some of the many needy children and their families in the York Region area. Many of the children receiving these toys will be living in shelters during the holiday season.
If you have attended The Country Toy Tea in the past we thank you for your support. We hope that we will see you again this year and please feel free to bring a friend. If you have never attended we would love to include you and would be happy to send you an invitation. Please fill out the form below to ensure that you get one.
